truth as lie in disguise

life as truth with myriad shades
truth as art on a calming canvas
truth as science of empirical evidence
facts where do they reside
in matter or in minds
is it real if not perceived so
or is perception reality
wherein lies the truth
deception maybe one man’s truth
another’s nightmare
truth versus delusion
or truth for delusion
truth as eternity
truth as ephemera
what is the nature of knowing
do we know ourselves
leave alone others
do we know what we think
we know
at once shades of black and white
at once grey
does life imitate art or art life
life as art in repose
art as life in action
interplay of love pathos humour passion
delusion delight drama
and a little tittle-tattle
a voyeur’s delight
is there an incontrovertible truth
untrammelled illusion
truth is an absolute
depends on which side
of the wall you are on
