the last sin
  pale ashen sky
a bleary eye
clouds of recurring screams...
i am a zoo
  an octopus leviathan
tentacles into an ocean
of unformed emotions...
syphilis and love
  syphilitic pall
stifles the clear blue
i contort...
shell and pearl
  amidst highs and lows
in life's ocean flows
a shell peony-mouthed...
i am an unmarried mother
  fed on stings
of barbed milk morality
my child-plankton...
the lovers
  cell upon cell
bridge of their union
hung on the pillars...
  ogre of age
and time cavil
at a warm picture...
the young today
  innocence thaws
at the altar
of ambition...

Saving Pluto

Every action has an equal
And opposite reaction
Days after Pluto’s banishment
Ironically God of the dark
Underworld in Greek mythology
And namesake of that delightful
Disney dog in current lore
From the Planetary High Council
Blame it on its puny size
Eccentric orbit and orbital plane
Efforts are afoot
By a motley crew
Rebel astronomers
With shaggy beards
On an interstellar overdrive
Hey bring on the lights
To restore Pluto’s pride of place
In the hippest club of all
The Solar System
‘A better definition is needed’
They chorus in an online petition
It’s getting funny
For years we were made
To believe that Planets
Decide our course of life
Now delusional men
Are fighting
Over the fate of Planets

Kalyug, did you say?
