the last sin
  pale ashen sky
a bleary eye
clouds of recurring screams...
i am a zoo
  an octopus leviathan
tentacles into an ocean
of unformed emotions...
syphilis and love
  syphilitic pall
stifles the clear blue
i contort...
shell and pearl
  amidst highs and lows
in life's ocean flows
a shell peony-mouthed...
i am an unmarried mother
  fed on stings
of barbed milk morality
my child-plankton...
the lovers
  cell upon cell
bridge of their union
hung on the pillars...
  ogre of age
and time cavil
at a warm picture...
the young today
  innocence thaws
at the altar
of ambition...

a man and a woman
a little banter
a lot of banality
frenzied opening movements
of pelvic thrusts
and there we are
on a long long journey
of unexpected turnings

a song and dance drama
a little bit of soap
a lot of life
heartbreak hotel
cat and mouse games
of unexpected turnings

a little pleasure
a lot of paranoia
wipe that smirk off
it ain't a fun trip
early morn shine
breakfast in bed
easy noon viewing on
cotton padded armchair
and in the evening
cold of desert sands
a subtext of passion
that arouses
and enervates
all sound no fury
of unexpected turnings

life goes on
drive carefully.
